Public sensitization on HIV/AIDS

Recognizing the magnitude of the HIV/AIDS problem, Rieko Kenya is working to reduce the spread and mitigate the impact of HIV/IDS in the designated districts.

Rieko Kenya emphasizes on building a network as a foundation for increasing access to comprehensive and integrated HIV/AIDS service to the target population. The model seeks to tap into and build upon services already being provided through a network of family/community based, private sector, faith based organizations and public sector organizations. Through mobilization, capacity building and technical assistance, Rieko Kenya is supporting delivery of expanded and comprehensive HIV/AIDS services.

Training session on HIV/AIDS mitigation and Governance

Mobilized and strengthened families, community, school – based groups and faith based organizations are facilitated to become frontiers for influencing their members’ behavior change, providing support within their means while stimulating demand and initiating referrals for other HIV/AIDS services.
